  • eggs - 6 item
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • vanilla flavoring - 2 Tbsp
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • sticks butter not margarine - 2 item

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Sift flour and baking soda together. Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time to the butter and sugar mixture, beating well after each addition. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Add flavoring. After all ingredients are mixed, beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
