Ingredients/Components

  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • onion, chopped - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • ground cumin
  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • can cream of chicken soup, undiluted - 1 item
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • to 1 small can chopped green chilies - 1/2 item
  • to 10 tortillas - 9 item
  • cheese, grated

How to make sour cream enchiladas:

Brown beef and onions; drain well. Add remaining ingredients except tortillas and cheese. Mix well. Place thin layer of meat sauce in oblong casserole dish. Cut tortillas in sixths. Layer one-half of tortilla pieces on top of meat sauce in casserole.
