  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • butter or margarine - 1 c
  • salt - 3/8 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • sifted flour - 2 c

How to make sour cream coffee cake:

Topping:3/4 c. chopped pecans2 Tbsp. sugar2 tsp. cinnamon Grease tube pan generously. Heat oven to 350°. Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift flour. Measure, then resift with baking powder and salt. Slowly add to creamed butter and sugar. On low speed, beat in sour cream and vanilla.

Mix topping ingredients together. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of topping in bottom of prepared pan. Cover with 1/4 batter. Add alternately 2 tablespoons of topping and batter, ending with topping. Bake 55 minutes.
