Ingredients/Components

  • Bisquick - 2 c
  • cooked chicken breasts, cut up - 3 item
  • thinly sliced green onions - 1/3 c
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • cold water - 1/2 c
  • can mushrooms stems and pieces - 1 oz
  • shredded Cheddar cheese 8 oz - 2 c
  • garlic salt - 1 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 oz
  • mayonnaise - 1/3 c

How to make sour cream chicken casserole:

Preheat oven to 425°. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Mix the Bisquick and water to form dough. Place dough in baking dish. Pat and press dough to make a thin shell in dish, trying to keep shell an even thickness on bottom and up the sides of the baking dish.

Mix the remaining ingredients. Pour and spread evenly into dough shell. Bake until edges of shell are golden brown, for 30 minutes in 425° oven. Serves 6 to 8.
