Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- sour cream - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- walnuts or slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- flaked coconuut optional - 3 Tbsp
How to make crumb cake:
Mix the sugar, cinnamon, nuts and coconut; set aside. Beat until fluffy 1 cup butter, 2 cups sugar, vanilla, salt and eggs. Combine flour and soda; add alternately to the butter mixture with the sour cream.Pour 1/2 batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan; top with half the crumb mixture. Spread remaining batter and top with crumb mixture. Cut through batter in a swirling pattern with a knife. Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.
