Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- molasses - 1/4 c
- raisins
- oleo - 1/2 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- bran cereal - 1 c
How to make sour cream bran muffins:
Cream oleo; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, sour cream and molasses. Mix well. Stir in raisins. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to mixture. Add bran, stirring just until moist. Spoon into baking cups or greased muffin tins. Fill 3/4 full. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Very good!Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
