- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 (8
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- stick margarine, melted - 1/2 item
- apples, sliced very thin - 2 c
How to make sour cream apple pie:
Crumb Topping:1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. flour1/2 stick margarine, melted1 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 400°. Sift flour, sugar, salt and nutmeg in large bowl. Stir in beaten egg, sour cream and vanilla. Fold in apples and spoon into pastry. Bake 15 minutes. Lower heat to 300° and bake 30 minutes longer. Mix topping. Add to pie. Return to 400° oven for 10 minutes or until topping is brown.
