- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda
- all-purpose flour - 5 c
- molasses - 2 Tbsp
- 4 sticks butter, softened - 1 lb
How to make soft batch chocolate chip cookies:
Preheat oven to 375°. Cream butter, eggs, molasses, vanilla and water in a medium size bowl. In a large bowl, sift together the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour. Combine the moist mixture with the dry mixture. Add the chocolate chips. Shape the dough into 1 inch balls, and place them 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
