Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- reserved cake mix
- Combine filling ingredients and set aside
How to make sock-it-to-me cake:
Filling (Set Aside):2 Tbsp. reserved cake mix2 Tbsp. brown sugar2 tsp. cinnamon1 c. chopped pecans Preheat oven to 375°. Combine filling ingredients and set aside.In a large bowl, blend cake mix, sour cream, oil, 1/4 cup sugar, water and eggs. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour 2/3 of the batter in a greased and floured 10-inch tube or Bundt cake pan. Sprinkle filling ingredients over batter in pan. Spread remaining batter evenly over filling mixture. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly. Cool, right side up, for about 25 minutes, then remove from pan.Glaze:1 c. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. milk Mix well. Drizzle over cake. (Make sure cake is cool so glaze will be absorbed.)
