Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 3 item
• chopped pecans - 1/2 c
• pkg - 1 1/2
• coconut - 1/2 c
• salad oil - 3/4 c
• Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan
• white cake mix two layer size - 1 pkg
• Seven-Up or club soda - 1 c

How to make watergate cake:

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.Icing:3 (3 oz.) envelopes whipped Dream Whip1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. jello pistachio instant pudding and pie filling mix Combine and beat 5 minutes or until thickened. Spread on cooled cake. Sprinkle with pecans and coconut, if desired.
