  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • Crisco oil - 1/3 c
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • cinnamon sugar - 2 tsp
  • Duncan Hines butter cake mix - 1 pkg
  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Beat at high speed for 2 minutes

How to make sock it to me cake:

In a large bowl, blend cake mix, sour cream, oil, sugar, water and eggs. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour 2/3 of batter in a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.Filling:2 Tbsp. reserved cake mix2 Tbsp. brown sugar1 c. pecans, chopped2 tsp. cinnamon sugar Combine ingredients and set aside. Preheat oven to 375°. Sprinkle filling over batter in pan. Spread remainder of batter over filling. Bake at 375° for 45 to 55 minutes, or until cake springs back.Glaze:1 c. confectioners sugar2 Tbsp. milk Blend. Drizzle over cake.
