Ingredients/Components
- box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 item
- cream sherry - 3/4 c
- box Jell-O instant vanilla pudding small - 1 item
- Crisco oil recommend Crisco Puritan canola oil - 3/4 c
- large eggs or 5 small or medium eggs - 4 item
- Add oil and sherry
How to make cream sherry cake:
Place cake mix and pudding in a large mixing bowl. Add oil and sherry. Start mixer on low speed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one. Then turn mixer to high speed for five minutes. Pour into well-greased tube pan or Bundt pan. If you use tube pan, bake at 300° for 45 minutes. If you use Bundt pan, bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Glaze:1 c. confectioners sugar, sifted1/4 c. cream sherry Drizzle 1/3 of glaze over warm cake in pan. Cool 15 minutes and turn out.
