Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- Knox unflavored gelatine - 1 pkg
How to make snow pudding:
Soak gelatine in milk for 5 minutes. Cook over low flame until gelatine is dissolved, then add sugar. Remove from heat and slowly add beaten egg yolks. Return to heat until you notice a slight thickening similar to cream. Remove from heat and stir in salt and vanilla. Add 3 stiffly beaten egg whites. Stir well and refrigerate. The pudding will separate into a layer of custard with a frothy (snowy) layer on top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low sodium, Low calorie.
