Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
How to make snickerdoodles:
Preheat oven to 400°. Combine shortening, sugar and eggs; mix together. Sift together the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; add to shortening mixture. Roll the dough into small balls; roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
