Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
How to make snickerdoodles:
Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt in mixing bowl. Beat butter, shortening, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in flour mixture.In small bowl, mix 6 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Make into balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
