Cornbread dressing
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- pepper - 1 tsp
- cans chicken broth - 4 item
- sage - 1/2 c
- stalks celery - 5 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- poultry seasoning - 1/2 c
- onions - 2 item
- pans baked cornbread - 4 item
How to make cornbread dressing:
Bake cornbread; cool and crumble in large bowl. Chop onions and celery; cover with water and boil until tender (using chicken bouillon cubes in water). Mix the following with cornbread: egg, pepper, butter, salt, poultry seasoning, sage and chicken broth (adding 1 can of broth at a time). Add onion and celery mix to cornbread mixture.
