Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- ketchup - 1/4 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- barbecue sauce - 1/2 c
- chopped green peppers - 1/2 c
- hamburger buns, split - 12 item
- franks, cut in 1/4-inch slices - 1 lb
How to make sloppy franks:
Cover and microwave onion, green peppers and margarine in a 1-quart casserole on High until tender, 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in barbecue sauce, ketchup and franks. Cover and microwave on High for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. Stir. Cover and microwave until mixture boils. Spoon mixture onto buns on serving plate.
