Simple salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- sliced mushrooms
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- hamburg - 1 lb
How to make simple salisbury steak:
In bowl mix thoroughly 1/2 cup soup, hamburg, bread crumbs, egg and onions; shape into 5 patties. In skillet over medium heat, cook patties a few at a time until brown on both sides. Spoon off fat. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms; return patties to skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until done, turning occasionally.
