Sicilian supper
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt
- water - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 1
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- cooked egg noodles - 2 c
How to make sicilian supper:
Brown meat; add onion and cook until tender. Boil chopped green pepper until tender. Add tomato paste, water and salt and pepper to meat; simmer 5 minutes. Heat milk and cream cheese; blend well. Stir in green pepper, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and cooked noodles. In casserole, alternate layers of meat sauce and noodle mixture, ending with layer of meat sauce.
