Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- bouillon cubes - 3 item
- ground beef, browned
- instant mashed potatoes - 1 pkg
- sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- dry Lipton onion soup - 1 pkg
- can green peas and carrots with juice - 1 item
How to make shepherd's pie:
Take meat (drained) and add peas and carrots, dry Lipton soup, bouillon cubes and salt and pepper in pan and simmer until cubes have dissolved. Prepare instants as directed on package. Take meat mixture and place in a 9-inch square baking dish. Place mashed potatoes on top and spread evenly. Take cheese and spread on top. Place in an oven at 300° for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is browned. Feeds 3 to 4 people.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
