Sweet and sour meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- butter
- egg - 1 item
- mustard - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- bell pepper - 1 item
- onion - 1 item
- Worcestershire - 1 Tbsp
- lean hamburger meat - 2 lb
- carrots baby carrots, partially cooked
How to make sweet and sour meatballs:
Sauce:1 can Campbell's tomato soup1 Tbsp. mustard1/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. Worcestershire1 onion1 bell pepper2 Tbsp. butter Mix meat, egg and bread crumbs well and roll into small meatballs. Put in oven at 350°. Brown on one side, then turn meatballs over and brown on other side; drain and set aside.Finely chop onion and bell pepper and saut?© in butter until tender. Add 1 can of soup and half a can of water with mustard, brown sugar and Worcestershire; let simmer for 15 minutes. Pour over meatballs and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
