Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- bacon drippings - 1/4 c
- sliced onions - 4 c
- liver
How to make beef liver and onions:
Dredge liver with mixed flour, salt and pepper. Heat 1/4 cup bacon drippings; brown liver in it quickly on both sides. Remove to hot platter and keep warm.Saute onions in second 1/4 cup drippings until golden brown. Pile onions on top of liver and serve. Makes 6 portions.
