Ingredients/Components
- small onion - 1 item
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- can English peas - 1 item
- to 6 medium potatoes - 4 item
- can carrots - 1 item
How to make shepherd's pie:
Brown hamburger meat and onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Fix potatoes as if you were making mashed potatoes (instant potatoes can be used).In a casserole dish, layer hamburger meat, then peas and carrots. Top with mashed potatoes and then cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
