  • oleo - 1 Tbsp
  • fish - 8 oz
  • oregano - 1/3 tsp
  • parsley - 1 tsp
  • onions, chopped - 1/2 c
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • cans tomatoes - 2 oz
  • thyme - 1/3 tsp
  • shrimp - 8 oz
  • red pepper - 1/6 tsp
  • crab meat - 8 oz
  • scallops - 8 oz
  • garlic - 1/3 tsp
  • green peppers, chopped - 1/3 c
  • to 3 bay leaves - 2 item
  • oysters - 1/2 pt
  • gumbo file - 1 tsp
  • cut, frozen okra - 2 c
  • Add spices and oleo; stir well

How to make seafood gumbo:

Combine tomatoes, onions, peppers and okra. Add spices and oleo; stir well. Add seafood; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until seafood and vegetables are done. May also be served over rice, if desired.*INXSALADS:
