Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- ketchup - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- can kidney beans, drained - 1 item
- can lima beans, drained - 1 item
- to 1 lb - 12 oz
- cans pork and beans, undrained - 2 item
How to make cowboy beans:
Brown beef with onion. Cook bacon, break into pieces. Combine with beans. Mix ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, liquid smoke, salt and pepper. Add to beans and beef mixture. Put in slow cooker 4 to 6 hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beans, One Dish meal.
