Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/4 lb
  • small can mushrooms - 1 item
  • hard-cooked eggs, sliced - 3 item
  • small can crabmeat - 1 item
  • small can tuna, drained - 1 item
  • small can shrimp, halved - 1 item
  • bread crumbs, mixed with 1/4 lb - 1 c

How to make seafood casserole:

Make white sauce (blend 1/4 cup butter, flour and milk). Arrange a layer of sliced eggs in a buttered 8-inch square pan. Cover with some sauce, layer of shrimp, sauce, tuna, sauce, mushrooms, sauce, crabmeat and sauce. Sprinkle sauce with cheese; cover with buttered crumbs. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
