Ingredients/Components

• Jeremiah 6:20 sugar - 1/2 lb
• Amos 4:5 baking powder - 1 tsp
• Judges 4:19 milk - 3 Tbsp
• Judges 5:25 butter - 1/2 lb
• 1 Samuel 14:25 honey - 1 Tbsp
• 1 Samuel 30:12 raisins - 1/2 lb
• pinch of Leviticus 2:13 salt
• 1 Kings 4:22 flour - 4 c
• Jeremiah 17:11 eggs - 3 item
• Numbers 17:8 almonds, blanched and chopped - 1/4 c
• dash of 2 Chronicles 9:9 cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to taste
• Nahum figs, chopped - 1/2 lb

How to make scripture cake:

Beat butter, sugar and honey to cream. Add eggs, one at a time, still beating. Add almonds, raisins and figs. Beat again. Add almonds, flour, spices and baking powder having already mixed them and then add milk. Bake in slow oven for 1 1/2 hours.
