- sugar - 1/2 c
- white flour
- stick of butter - 1 item
How to make scottish shortbread:
Mix flour and sugar on board. Put butter on board and gradually work in dry ingredients kneading well. After all ingredients are worked together knead and press into oiled and floured mould. If you do not have a mould, you may just shape it with your hands and pat down firmly. Remove from mould and place on tray lined with baking paper. Bake for about 2 hour at oven temperature 300 degrees. You may use 1 cup white flour and 1 cup rice flour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cookie and brownie.
