Scallops au gratin
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- fine dry bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
- scallops - 1/2 lb
- condensed cream of mushroom soup undiluted - 1/3 c
- salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce - 1 item
How to make scallops au gratin:
Cut scallops in small pieces and saute gently, in 1 tablespoon butter for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in soup, season to taste with salt and pepper. Add a dash of hot pepper sauce; put in small shells (about 8). Mix cheese with crumbs and remaining butter, melted, and sprinkle over top. Broil a few inches from heat until lightly browned.
