Scalloped potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- minced onion - 1/4 c
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Alternate layers of potatoes, green pepper and onion in greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish or 2 quart casserole. Combine soup, milk and seasonings. Pour over potatoes. Cover. Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 45 minutes. (Aluminum foil makes handy cover for irregular-shaped baking dish.) Remove cover and bake 20 to 30 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
