  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • grated cheese
  • medium onion, sliced - 1 item
  • pared and sliced potatoes - 1 qt

How to make scalloped potatoes:

Place half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with half of each ingredient. Repeat the procedure and add milk so that potatoes are just covered. Cover; bake at 350° for about 40 minutes. Remove cover; continue to bake 40 minutes longer or until tender-brown. Serves 6.
