Scalloped potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- grated cheese - 1/2 1
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium potatoes - 6 item
- onion - 1 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and make a paste. Add milk and stir until thickened. Add cheese. Stir until melted. Add salt and pepper. Slice potatoes and place a layer of them in a 3 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle 1/3 of the onions over the potatoes. Pour 1/3 of sauce over potatoes and onions. Repeat until all ingredients are in casserole. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Bake at 350°.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
