Ingredients/Components
- potatoes - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- stick oleo - 1/2 item
- milk approximately - 1/3 c
- Velveeta cheese as needed - 1 item
- medium Cheddar cheese as needed - 1 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Peel and slice potatoes in round slices. Add onion and salt; boil 10 minutes. Cover bottom of dish with milk. Drain potato mixture and put in casserole on top of milk. Add oleo. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°. Take out of oven and top with enough Velveeta cheese to cover potato mixture. Let cheese melt. Sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese. Let melt.
