Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oleo - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/3 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • potato chips, crushed - 2 c
  • Cheddar cheese - 10 oz
  • hash browns, shredded frozen - 2 lb

How to make scalloped potatoes:

Defrost potatoes. Combine in a large bowl the oleo, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Put in a buttered Pyrex, 9 x 13-inch. Sprinkle chips on top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to an hour.
