Crabmeat au gratin
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 8 c
- flour - 3 c
- oleo - 1 lb
- diced onion - 2/3 c
- diced green pepper - 2/3 c
- diced pimento - 2/3 c
- curry powder - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- diced celery - 6 c
- crabmeat - 27 oz
- processed cheese - 16 oz
- Parmesan cheese for top - 1 item
How to make crabmeat au gratin:
Melt oleo; add flour, stirring to make smooth paste. Add milk and blend with wire whisk until well mixed. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour into greased pan. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake at 375° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serve on toast points or English muffins. Great for brunch. Serves 15!Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
