Ingredients/Components
- canned chicken broth
- medium onion - 1 item
- rice - 1 c
- Hillshire Farm smoked sausage - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
How to make sausage and rice casserole:
Saute onion. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Cook on low 20 to 25 minutes. Cut up smoked sausage and add to rice about 5 to 10 minutes before rice is done.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Comfort food.
