Ingredients/Components

  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • dried dill weed - 2 tsp
  • chicken broth - 4 c
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 3/4
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained - 1 oz
  • fresh mushrooms, sliced - 8 oz
  • ribs celery, chopped - 2 item
  • medium carrots, chopped - 2 item
  • smoked Polish sausage, cubed - 1 lb
  • medium potatoes, cut in small cubes - 3 item

How to make sauerkraut soup:

Place all ingredients in a 3 1/2 to 4-quart crock-pot. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
