Sauerkraut salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- water - 1/3 c
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 2/3 c
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- celery, chopped - 1/3 c
- can sauerkraut, drained - 1 oz
- medium size onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, halved and seeded - 1 item
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Rinse sauerkraut with cold water; drain well. Combine sauerkraut with pepper, onion, celery and celery seed in a medium size bowl. Combine oil, water, vinegar and sugar in a small bowl. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour over sauerkraut mixture. Refrigerate for 24 hours.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
