Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- onions - 1/2 c
- jar pimento - 1 item
- green pepper optional - 1/2 c
- # 2-1/2 can kraut, drained - 1- item
- oil not olive oil - 1/2 c
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Dressing:1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. vinegar1/2 c. oil (not olive oil) Drain kraut and cover with boiling water. Let stand about 5 minutes then drain and rinse with cold water. Add remaining vegetables to kraut. Heat sugar, vinegar and oil to boiling and pour over vegetables.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
