  • ground beef
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • raw rice - 1/2 c
  • can sauerkraut - 1 lb

How to make sauerkraut casserole:

Brown the meat; add onions and cook a few minutes. Add soup, sauerkraut and rice. Bake covered 1 hour at 300°, then 1 1/2 hours, uncovered. Serve with rye bread.
