Salmon quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- half and half
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- green onions, sliced - 4 item
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- dill - 1 Tbsp
- salmon - 1 c
- 9-inch prepared pastry shell - 1 item
How to make salmon quiche:
Prick the surface of the pastry shell with a fork. Prebake at 375° for 10 minutes.Meanwhile, drain the salmon and remove skin and bones. Break salmon into small pieces. Add onions, mixing well. Spread into pastry shell.
In separate bowl, combine half and half, eggs, dill, salt and pepper. Beat until well combined. Pour over salmon. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes or until filling is set. Good served with fresh fruit salad and sour cream raisin cookies for dessert.
