Salmon mousse
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cold water - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- heavy cream - 1/2 c
- envelope unflavored gelatin - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- grated onion - 1 Tbsp
- Tabasco - 1/2 tsp
- can salmon, drained - 1 (16
How to make salmon mousse:
Sprinkle gelatin on cold water to soften and add water to dissolve. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, onion, Tabasco, paprika and salt. Remove skin and visible bone from salmon. Flake well. Add salmon to mixture and mix well. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into oiled mold and chill.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Spreads.
