Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- shortening
- sage - 2 tsp
- grated onion - 2 Tbsp
- strips bacon, cut in 1-inch squares - 4 item
How to make sage biscuits:
Put flour, baking powder, salt and sage in medium bowl and stir to mix. Cut in shortening and add onions and milk. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet. Before putting biscuits in oven, put a piece of bacon on top of each one. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, American, Rolls/biscuits.
