- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- diced apples - 3 c
- Crisco or oil - 3/4 c
How to make roman apple cake:
Combine Crisco, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Then add nuts and apples. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter. Put on top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
