Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt
- flour - 5 c
- shortening - 6 Tbsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- yeast - 2 pkg
- lukewarm water - 1/2 c
How to make rolls:
Use electric mixer. Heat milk, then add sugar, salt and shortening, stirring until all is dissolved; cool to lukewarm. Put yeast in bowl with warm water to dissolve; add milk mixture to yeast mixture. Add eggs and 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth, then add rest of flour and knead well. Put in greased bowl and grease the top of the dough. Let rise about 1 hour, then knead well. Roll out and put in your baking sheets; let rise again at least another hour or longer.
