Ingredients/Components
- margarine or butter - 1/2 c
- square unsweetened chocolate or 1 envelope premelted unsweetened baking chocolate flavor
- sugar - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 1
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp

- package Semi-sweet chocolate chips, if desired
- miniature marsh mellows

- reserved cream cheese - 2 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 3 c
How to make rocky road fudge bars:
Filling:8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened (reserve 2 oz. for frosting)1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. flour1/4 c. margarine or butter, softened1 egg1/2 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. chopped nuts1- 6 oz. package Semi-sweet chocolate chips, if desired Frosting:2 c. miniature marsh mellows1/4 c. margarine or butter1- 1 oz. chocolate2 oz. reserved cream cheese1/4 c. milk3 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease (not oil) and flour 13 x 9 in. pan. In large sauce pan over low heat melt 1/2 c. margarine and 1 square chocolate. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Add remaining bar ingredients, mix well. Spread in prepared pan. In small bowl, combine 6 oz. cream cheese with next 5 filling ingredients. Beat 1 minute at medium speed until smooth and fluffy; stir in nuts, and chips. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven; sprinkle with marsh mellows. Bake 2 minutes longer.In large sauce pan over low heat, melt 1/4 cup margarine, 1 square chocolate; remaining 2 oz. cream cheese and milk. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Immediately pour over marsh mellows and swirl together. Cool; Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator. 3 to 4 dozen bars. Tip: Self-Rising flour not recommended.
