  • butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • pecan pieces - 3 c
  • 2 1/3 oz

How to make roasted pecan clusters:

Melt butter, pour in 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Add pecans and stir to coat. Bake in 300° oven for 25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Put on paper towel and sprinkle lightly with salt. Place candy coating in top of double boiler. Bring water to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook until coating melts. Cool 2 minutes, add pecans and stir until coated. Drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper and let cool.
