Rigatoni con pepperoni
Ingredients/Components
- whipping cream - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- ripe tomatoes, diced - 2 item
- garlic clove, crushed - 1 item
- olive oil or vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepperoni, sliced thin - 1/2 lb
- rigatoni, cooked al dente - 1/2 lb
- small yellow onion, peeled and diced - 1 item
- Parmesan or Romano cheese for topping - 1 item
How to make rigatoni con pepperoni:
Heat a frying pan and saute the garlic and onion in olive oil, just until clear. Add the tomatoes and pepperoni. Saute until the tomatoes cook down a bit, about 3 minutes. Add the cream, salt and pepper. Toss with the rigatoni and top with the cheese. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pasta, rice and grains.
