Rigatoni
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- hamburger - 4 lb
- cloves garlic - 3 item
- large chopped onion - 1 item
- Italian grated cheese - 1 c
- Ragu spaghetti sauce - 2 qt
- boxes rigatoni - 2 lb
- small can tomato paste, plus 1 can water - 1 item
How to make rigatoni:
Cook rigatoni as directed on package; drain. Cook hamburger in large pot until done. Add chopped onion and garlic; cook for 5 minutes. Add Ragu, tomato paste and water. Cook for 15 minutes. Makes 2 large pans.Spoon sauce into each pan to cover bottom. Use 1/2 of rigatoni for each pan. Layer rigatoni on sauce, then Mozzarella cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used (sauce to be top layer). Sprinkle with grated Italian cheese. Cover with foil; bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serves approximately 20.
