Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1 qt
- nutmeg - 1 item
- egg yolks - 3 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- raisins - 5 Tbsp
- cooked rice - 6 Tbsp
- whole eggs - 2 item
- pinch of cinnamon - 1 item
How to make rice pudding:
Combine eggs, yolks, sugar, salt, cinnamon and vanilla in a bowl. Heat milk in saucepan and gradually add egg mixture. Place cooked rice and raisins in bottom of a 2-quart baking dish. Pour milk-egg mixture over rice. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until set. Sprinkle with nutmeg to taste. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Rice.
